6–7pm, Wednesday 12 September
We are running a webinar to raise foundation doctors’ awareness of the new internal medicine curriculum, due to launch August 2019. We hope to encourage many foundation doctors – focusing on those who will be in F2 next year and currently deciding on their future career pathway – to consider physician postgraduate training following the introduction of the new curriculum. The curriculum’s integration of capabilities in practice (CiPs) aim to produce doctors with the skills needed to manage patients presenting with a wide range of general medical symptoms and conditions, as well as promoting flexibility for trainees.
The webinar panel will include: Professor David Black (JRCPTB medical director), Dr Alastair Miller (JRCPTB deputy medical director) Dr David Marshall (Head of School, NHS Education for Scotland) and Dr Anna Ollson-Brown (chair of RCP Edinburgh members’ and trainees’ committee).
