Consultation on transitional arrangements for dual CCT MM MV ID TM Oct15
The Royal College of Pathologists and the JRCPTB published transitional arrangements to provide guidance to trainees, trainers, educational supervisors and Heads of School about how curriculum transition will be managed with the introduction of the new Medical Microbiology (MM), Medical Virology (MV), Infectious Diseases (ID) and Tropical Medicine (TM) curricula which include Combined Infection Training (CIT).
We are now updating these arrangements for dual MM/MV & ID trainees in response to the end of the ID SCE examination in 2017. The Royal College of Pathologists and JRCPTB are therefore consulting on these changes which will allow more trainees to transfer to the new MM/MV/ID/TM curricula (incorporating CIT).
