Post CCT Fellowship in Clinical Haemato-Oncology

Applications are invited for a 1 year post CCT fellowship in clinical haemato-oncology commencing August 2014. This post is located within the Department of Haematology at the University Hospital of Wales which is the tertiary referral centre for lymphoid malignancies in South Wales. The position is aimed at candidates who have completed or are within 3 months of gaining their CCT in haematology at the time of application and who wish to gain further experience in the management of patients with lymphoid malignancies and of clinical trials. The successful candidate will gain first hand experience in clinical trials involving next generation agents in lymphoid malignancies and will be involved in all aspects of the trial process from the bench to the bedside. This post will provide excellent post CCT experience for any ambitious newly qualified haematologist who is hoping to lead an academic service for patients with lymphoid malignancies in the future. The post is supervised by Professor Chris Fegan and Dr Clare Rowntree.
