The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK is seeking to appoint a Medical Secretary to the MRCP(UK) Specialty Question Writing Groups. The Specialty Question Groups are a pool of around 140 question writers from all around the UK, from a spectrum of medical specialties, who compile questions of the right calibre to meet the needs of the Part 1 and Part 2 Written papers. The Medical Secretary plays a key role, with the Chair and supported by exams staff, in ensuring that academic objectives and standards are met at every stage of our rigorous question paper production process.

The appointment is for five years and is equivalent to 1PA a week for which the post holder's Trust will be reimbursed. The post is open to Fellows of the three Colleges based in the UK and practising in a medical specialty.
